Cooked my first ever dish today; Prawn Aglio. Took the recipe off the internet site which I have been 'marked as favourite' since many months ago. It was an off day for me and I had invitations to go out and meet some friends but laziness got the hold of me so I decided to stay home and rot. Plus, I texted him to ask where he'll be breaking his fast and he didn't seem interested to go out and eat with me so I won't force and be the only enthusiastic one.
Read off the recipe and I only had to buy three extra ingredients. The rest can all be found in my kitchen. Started preparing and cooking my meal only at 6 pm, which is around 1 hour plus to break fast time. It started off okay. I boiled the pasta and peel off the prawn shells. But then I realise, I haven't prepare the garlic and the parsley leaves. I was so engrossed in following the steps that I didn't properly prepare how much of the ingredients to use each. Everything was so last minute and I keep on running back and forth to my laptop. Halfway while cooking, my laptop died so I rushed it to my room and have a quick charge. Back to the kitchen and there was a step that was a little confusing. I even mix the wrong bowl of stock in the sauce pan and I threw all the butter away and made a new one. It was a crazy alone time cooking.
Just nice the prayers were called out and I finished touching up the dish. It tasted quite decent to me and I'm actually really proud of it.
